What Is A Military Veteran

The word “veteran” is used in the United States to mean individuals with involvement in the military. The common usage is for a past armed forces personnel. A veteran is one who has served in the armed forces. It is especially applied to those who served for their complete career, usually of 20 years or more, but may be applied for people who has only worked one tour of duty.
